Growing up in rural Michigan was great but I was ready to explore something new. After four years in Chicago teaching in different capacities, I made the move to Seattle to pursue a new career path in medical software training.  

I enjoy all types of technology and the MAET program has inspired me to try a lot of new things. Tinkering with a 3D printer, Raspberry Pi, or an Arduino all started out as technology I explored through the program but have become interesting hobbies for me. Below is a picture of an example of that when we switched to remote learning last year. 

Ann and I adopted Yara, our rescue puppy this past August 2020. Our lives now revolve around her and we wouldn't have it any other way. It has been a blast exploring the many great Seattle area dog parks on the weekends.

Travel is a passion of mine. Exploring new places and cultures has had a significant impact on me over the years. The best part about the country opening back up for me is the hope that I can get back to traveling soon. The picture below is from a 2019 trip to Taiwan.
